During this trip back, Claudia get to experience Aussie children birthday party (including me). It's Claudia cousin William birthday party at his grandmother house. Lots of children, food and games. She did have a great time. And at the end of our trip, we went to Hobart, Tasmanian for 3 days. Hobart is very quiet and peace place. Claudia and I took a double decker red bus city tour while daddy went for this meeting. It is her first time on a bus and she is so excited.

Another 6 months has gone and we are back to Adelaide for another break. This time is winter. Claudia adapt the weather very well. In fact better than her dad cause at the end of the trip, daddy got a cold and Claudia is still going strong. Since she grow taller and more energetic, she is always playing/running in the garden with the cat.

26 months old already. It seems like I'm the one who trying to catch up with her than she learning from me. Sometimes she surprise me with the things she do and the things she said. I did not teach her those things but somehow she know about them. Probably from the TV. She still attend Tumble Tots class every weekend but she is showing signs that she is getting bored with it. She only loves the singing and action part and of course the ending with the stickers. She is also become a parrot lately cause she just repeats everything we say. I guess thats how they learned.

Claudia definitely in her terrible two stage. She is able to express her emotion and demand very well. Especially the negative ones e.g. Don't want, No & Cannot. She able to sing but only the part she know and the rest she just make the sound. She also able to tell story from the pictures in the bedtime story books. I do see so improvement between her and Mr.Wallace. I guess she understand better now. Again she also knew that she can't mess around with daddy cause daddy do smack her when she is naughty.

Wow! 24 months old already. Isn't it happy time does goes by quick. Well, Claudia is at her terrible two stages. More responsibility for mummy & daddy. Her brain is like a sponge, absorb almost everything we teach her and even those we do not wish her to learn. At least not now. She brings us so much of happiness and joy. Definitely a very busy month. Spend first half of the month in Australia and back home for the second half. Work is piling high, bills not paid, phone line got cut off and etc. Also, start planning for Claudia birthday party. I think we decided to have a small family party again. Daddy is away for a week for business trip in Tunisia with FIL. But again, the month past by so quickly and it time for payroll again, hurray! As you can see, I only managed to snap 4 photos of Claudia this month.

Well, we are in Australia again. Is winter time and is Claudia first time experience winter. So far, she taking the cold better than me. But she did had a cold at the end of the trip. She seem to enjoy over here and at the same time she miss home (Malaysia). Just the other day, she so how managed to call my mum through the Skype phone all by herself. We will be back next month (July 07). This little girl has grow so much in terms of physical & mentally. Very demanding & short temper too.

I apologise for updating this blog on time. If you haven't know, I also updating another blog "Mrs.Wallace Notes". That blog will be updated more often and with more description and video of our everyday simple life. This month we went to the Eye on Malaysia and Kidzsport in One Utama. Both trip is good fun not only for Claudia but my parents & myself too. I always feel that we should spend more time with our parents and don't take things for granted.

Claudia vocabulary has increased tremendously. I have lost count of how many words that she knows. She is definitely more demanding since she knows about everything in the house. Sometimes she feels bored being stuck in the house for 6 days a week, I guess I have to find more activities for her to do or even send her for some fun classes. I have thought of swimming & music lessons but the instructor/teacher said that she is still too young.

Claudia is definitely not a baby anymore. She keep on surprising us with new tricks and words everyday. She love books, stickers and dancing. This month she said farewell to her dummy. It is a short and painless goodbye. We are quite shocked about it since she a dummy addict. Taking care of her is much easier now. She can play her toys by herself as long as you are in the same room with her. She still loves her food. She eat well except she is not very keen on drinking plain water.

She just take over her dad ice-blended & not willing to give it back.

February is definately my favourite month. Why? Because most of the time CNY falls on February, my birthday and of course Valentine. This year I received the best gift ever. Hubby agreed to trade-in my 10 years old Proton Satria for a SUV that I always dream of.

Claudia is celebrating her 2nd Chinese New Year (CNY) this year. She is more aware whats happening around. She loves to watch lion dance, do not know what is angpow and afraid of loud bang from firework. This year she done a lots of relative visiting and always ended up sleeping way past her sleeping time. All and all, we did have a great month.

Claudia is walking much more steady now. This month she is also attending Tumble Tots at Subang Parade every Sunday. She is starting the Gymbabes which is for 6 months to 1 year old baby. She does have fun during the 45 minutes class and so do we (the parents). I guess watching them having fun is fun for parents too. Claudia will be attending the walking to 2 years old class starting in October. Yes! she graduated from Gymbabes......well done Claudia!

Claudia - 12 Months Old (1st Birthday Celebration)

This month Claudia celebrated her 1st birthday. I organised a small family lunch party for her with simple finger food. She is so surprised all the family members were there after she woke up from the afternoon nap. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks everyone who attended her party and not to forget thanks for all the beautiful gifts. Special thanks to Nan for coming to Malaysia just for Claudia's birthday considering her health condition. We spent time showing Nan around the city, we visited a lot of places like KLCC, Skybridge (which I haven't been before), Petaling Street-China Town (Claudia 1st time there) and Singapore at the end of the month. Very busy month but a great month!

You really can't keep track of time when you are occupied with so many things in your life. Especially happy times. Claudia is going to be 1 year old in couple of weeks time, she will be upgraded to toddler stage. She's still not able to walk or call anybody yet, however, I was told that it would not be long, so I'll be patient until then. We got her a splashing pool to play in our front yard and we go for swimming every Thursday at grandpapa's condo. Well, daddy said every Aussie should know how to swim at very young age and I not exempted.

Claudia - 10 Months Old

The growing journey of a baby is really amazing. If I were given another chance, I wouldn't miss it for a million. The drama, stunt and trick that them able to show you are priceless. I always thought raising a child is a tough job but actually it is a privillages (sometimes it still tough). This month is a breakthough for me cause I have to leave her with my mum for four days while Keith & I go to Hong Kong for a business trip. It felt like I have left my heart at home. I have Claudia video clip in the camera and I never failed to play it everyday during the trip. Sometimes I even played it couple of times in a day. Claudia is able to stand on her own for a minute and she also likes to bite you on your arm when you are off guard. It really hurts and it leave bruises to remind you the pain. And of course she never fail to pose for the camera!

We found out that Claudia loves camera. The moment she see's the camera red light flashing, she will pose and give a big smile. She also start playing her little foot. It's kind of cute and sometimes I saw her sucking her big toes. Claudia is starting to make different kind of sound too and she also always makes a fake cough to get attention. She can stand on her own for few seconds and you can see from her eyes that she is trilled that she can do that.

Claudia is getting smarter each day. She is aware of who she can bully and who she shouldn't mess around with. PoPo is her favourite victim next is me, what to do, we just love her so much.

She can stand by herself now as long as she can grab a hold of something to support herself. Climbing the TV cabinet is her favourite activity. After couple of falls she feels the pain and yet she still does it over and over again, dare devil.

Claudia - 7 Months Old

Claudia is a good eater. Feeding her fruit puree, poridge is an easy task. She is able to finish them within 10-15 minutes. We got her a high chair and she aware that when she sit on the high chair it meal time. Sometimes I cheat a bit just to let her sit there after meal too so that I have time to do some cleaning.

Grandmama got her some Baby Einstien DVD for Christmas and she loves it, it's glued her to the TV screen. She'll probably have watched them a million times already and she is still not bored with it, amazing.

Claudia - 6 Months Old (Singapore Trip)

Keith had a business meeting in Singapore, so we get to tag along for the weekend. My girlfriends have not seen Claudia (except in pictures) since her birth and they are asking when will I bring her down. It is a pleasant drive and Claudia again is a good girl during both drives. I invited my mother (Claudia PoPo) to come along since she also has not been to Singapore for a long time (she said very expensive lah!!).

After coming back to Malaysia, the first night Claudia can't adjust herself to the local time. PoPo (my mother) is waiting at our house when we arrived home. They are so happy to see each other after a month apart. Claudia still recognises her but not grandpapa when he picks us up at KLIA. I guess Claudia is tired upon arriving at the airport.

It December and it a holiday season. We went back to Adelaide, Australia for a month to celebrate the festival season. Keith's grandma and sister have not seen Claudia since her birth. Claudia is very good girl through the plane flight (going & coming back). We did have a great time and a lots of Christmas shopping!!

Claudia - 3 Months Old

Claudia is 3 months old now. She looks more solid and steady. We found out Claudia develop an allergy to cow's milk. It could be the lactose or the protein in the milk powder. She had a very bad rashes all over her little body and there is fluid coming out from those rashes that smell. I was so worried to the point that I drove her to the hospital in the evening to see a dermatologist. He did not gave her any oral medication, just 2 tubes of hydrocortisone lipocream (Efficort by Galderma from France) and it worked wonderfully. We started to feed Claudia with soy milk too. All the rashes are gone in just 2-3 days and did not leave behind any marks or scars. Phew......I can sleep more soundly at night after that incident. Since then, Claudia is a vegetarian until she start solid.

My neck is stronger now. Lifting my head! No problem

Since I got my new digital camera for my Christmas + birthday gift, Keith said I'm a crazy woman with taking photos. You see, Keith does not like his photo to be taken. I don't care, he has to take part because he part of Claudia's growing up process.

Arrival of Claudia Wallace

Finally, Claudia is born on August 1, 2005. It only took me three hours to give birth to Claudia. It is an easy labour and I think all the walking during pregnancy paid off. The first time I lay my eyes on her, I'm speechless because she is looking right at me while she laying on my still bloated stomach. It is an incredible feeling. Keith is being the good husband and father stay with us through out the entire process.

Unfortunately, we did not take any photo while we were in the hospital and only few photos taken at home during the first month. Here there are: -
